Excellent Service
I recently bought a Sherman trap from WildcareShop.com and I have to say the service was excellent. The trap was just what I needed and it arrived very quickly.
I will have no hesitation in buying further products from this store.

Impressive Performance
Hi Giles,
SLR Consulting Ltd has now completed its first season using the SM2 acoustic bat detectors and to date we have been very impressed by its performance. As a company working on large-scale and long-term wind development projects we required a detector which can not only be placed at-height and withstand a range of adverse weather conditions but can provide comprehensive and representative data on bat activity over long time periods. We have been so impressed by its performance that we now recommend using the SM2 detector on all proposed wind farm sites where static detector recording is required. Wildcare have proven themselves to be proactive and highly efficient in getting the SM2 equipment to our surveyors, sometimes within very tight deadlines and as such we have been delighted with their service and would wholeheartedly recommend them.

Thanks
Dear Giles, Just thought I would drop you a note to say thanks for helping sort out the external batteries and casings for the SM2, at short notice, this summer. We used four of the 2-channel 192 bats loggers, amongst others, as part of a study looking at the use of hedgerows by greater horseshoe bats in mid-Devon, and managed to conclusively identify the key commuting flyways used by these bats on leaving their maternity colony, from a large number of available options. The ability to link a secong microphone on a lead into one logger (both running off one clock), and monitor both sides of a hedge simultaneously, was ideal for this work. This facilitated the installation of equipment and their safeguard, reduced the amount of (physical) loggers needed, and eased data interpretation. This information is being put to good use to plan future developments around the maternity colony, and means that the relevant authorities will be in a position to take a forward-thinking and integrated approach with their decision-making, with the required ecological knowledge at hand. Kind regards, Wildlife Consultant
